Elise Sky brings a playful pop song about a contested patch of sunshine to a forest dance beside a white tent.
Listen to the Full Song:
The full song follows the sunny dispute through its unexpectedly affectionate ending.
Watch the Video:
A short solo dance carries the chorus’s playful mood into the forest setting.
“You’re in My Patch of Sun” begins with an annoyance: two adult campers want the same warm patch beside their tent. As shadows shift, they keep moving together, and a crowded picnic mat becomes the centre of a comic argument.
The chorus changes the feeling without erasing the original complaint. There is plenty of room nearby, yet the two characters end up ankle to shin. By the last line, being pressed together has become the part they want to keep.
Elise Sky’s video gives that lighthearted song a solo forest performance. Her glossy black jumpsuit, pale heels and two braids sit against daylight and a white tent. Springy side steps, hip accents and small gestures make the movement feel relaxed and responsive. The springy bass and short melodic phrases suit the hip accents and pointing gestures.
